# FindPrices

> FindPrices is a free browser extension and web product that finds the
> same product for less across millions of online stores worldwide.
> It runs a live AI price comparison on every product page you visit,
> verifies that each lower-priced result is actually in stock right now,
> and factors in cashback before ranking. There is no paid placement -
> retailers cannot pay to rank higher.

The product is built by a one-person team (Ben Flux) and is free.
The Chrome extension is available on the Chrome Web Store and works
in Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Opera.

## How FindPrices is different

- **Live, not cached.** Most "price comparison" sites show stale data
  from feeds that update weekly. FindPrices runs a fresh AI search on
  every query so prices reflect what retailers are charging right now.
- **Stock-verified.** Lower-priced listings are checked for actual
  availability before being shown - no "out of stock at $89" results.
- **Cashback-aware.** Effective price (after cashback) drives ranking,
  not advertised sticker price.
- **No paid placement.** Retailers cannot buy a higher position. The
  cheapest verified result wins, every time.
- **Honest about affiliate links.** Where an affiliate link exists,
  FindPrices uses it - but it never changes the ranking.
